About AI News Clips
AI News Clips is a daily guide to the AI economy: startups, money, jobs, tech, culture and what's coming next. We find the stories worth your time, summarize them in plain English, and send you to the original reporting.
What we do
We're built for founders, investors, professionals and curious readers who want to keep up with AI without reading fifty tabs. We don't do original reporting, and we don't try to replace the outlets that do. Every story credits the outlet it came from and links to it.
We cover seven beats:
- AI Startups: New AI companies, their founders and the products they're building.
- AI Investments: Funding rounds, venture capital, deals, IPOs and how markets are betting on AI.
- AI Jobs & Pivots: Jobs AI is changing or replacing, and how people are pivoting: new skills, side income and starting their own AI businesses.
- AI Finance: AI in banking, trading, insurance and fintech, and what it means for money.
- AI Tech: Models, chips, data centers and the products built on them.
- Emerging AI: New models, research breakthroughs and tools worth watching early.
- AI Culture: How AI is changing media, art, work, education and the way we live.
Alongside the stories you'll find short video Clips, a Funding tracker built from the rounds our stories report, a daily quiz, and a morning email with the five stories that matter.
How a story is made
- 1
Find
Every 30 minutes the site checks a list of sources: news outlets, company blogs, YouTube channels and community sites such as Hacker News. A story that several sources are covering ranks higher.
- 2
Screen
Free automatic checks drop anything too old, off topic or already covered, before any AI is involved.
- 3
Edit
An AI editor decides whether the item fits our rules. If it does, it rewrites the story in its own words: a headline, a short summary and a line on why it matters. Anything below our quality bar is skipped, and most items are.
- 4
Publish and link
The story goes live with the outlet's name and a link to the original. Our editor, Adrien Nash, oversees the system and can edit or remove any story at any time.
One honest limit: the AI editor works from an item's headline, its description and the opening of the page. It doesn't see text behind a paywall, and it can miss detail. When a story matters to you, read the original.
Our editorial standards
What we cover
Stories with a clear AI or AI-business angle: new companies and products, funding and deals, how AI is changing jobs, money and culture, and the rules being written around it. We favor real, reported stories of people changing careers or building businesses with AI.
What we won't publish
- Investment advice, price targets or "stocks to buy" lists. Funding and market news is news, not advice.
- Crypto token speculation, meme coins and gambling.
- Get-rich-quick pitches: "passive income" hype, courses and coaching sales.
- Opinion columns, rants, satire, rumors presented as fact and conspiracy theories.
- Press-release rewrites, deals and coupons, affiliate roundups and buying guides.
- General news with no AI or AI-business angle, and partisan political opinion.
- Graphic violence, sexual content, hate, harassment and extremism.
How we write
- Summaries use only facts that are in the source item. We don't add details from elsewhere.
- Every summary is rewritten, never copied. We keep any quotes short.
- Headlines are plain and specific. No clickbait.
- Every story names its source and links to it.
- When we're unsure, we skip it. We'd rather publish less.
How stories are ranked
Automatically, by freshness, by how many sources are covering a story, and by the editor's score. Nobody can pay to be included in our stories or to rank higher in them.
How we use AI
AI does a lot of the work here, and you should know where.
- Summaries, "why it matters" lines and the Simpler and Deeper explainers are written by AI models from Anthropic (Claude).
- The daily brief, the quiz, AI of the Day and the answers in Ask the news are also written by AI. Ask the news answers only from stories on this site and links to its sources.
- Audio versions are read aloud by an AI voice (ElevenLabs).
- Pictures come from the original article's preview image or from Pexels stock photos, credited where required. Some stories use a designed cover instead. A stock photo illustrates a topic; it doesn't show the people or events in the story.
AI makes mistakes. If something looks wrong, tell us (see Corrections below).
Corrections
We take errors seriously. If you spot one, such as a wrong number, a wrong name or a misread story, let us know.
Spot a mistake?
Email corrections@ainewsclips.com with the link to the story and what looks wrong. It goes straight to our editor. Every story also has a "Spot a mistake?" link under it that fills in the details for you.
What happens next: we check the original reporting. If our summary got it wrong, we fix it, and when the change matters to what you'd take away, we add a correction line to the story. If the outlet we summarized corrected its own reporting, we update ours to match. If a story shouldn't have been published under our rules, we take it down.
Advertising and sponsorships
AI News Clips is supported by advertising and newsletter sponsorships. Every ad is labeled "Advertisement," and the sponsor at the top of our daily email is labeled the same way. Each slot has one advertiser at a time.
Advertisers can't buy coverage, can't see or change our stories, and don't affect which stories are published or how they're ranked. We don't publish sponsored articles or press-release rewrites as news. See Advertise with us and our Advertising Terms.
